Verizon Foundation Showcases at CoSN's 14th Annual Conference

Critical new trends and what they mean for the future of education. The key role we all play in enabling 21st Century learning. These are just a few of the issues discussed at the Consortium for School Networking's (CoSN) 14th Annual School Networking Conference held March 10 -12 in Austin, Texas. The Verizon Foundation joined an estimated 700 education technology experts from across the country at the conference, which is dedicated to effective technology implementation from a district, state and national perspective.

Throughout the three day conference, Verizon had a display booth on the exhibit floor where trainers demonstrated the power of its high quality, standards-based resources - all available anytime, anywhere at no cost to educators, students, parents and caregivers everywhere. The Verizon Foundation also hosted a special session with a representative from the Sheldon Independent School District in Texas, who shared a powerful message of how her district has successfully integrated's resources into instruction - resulting in more engaged, confident and successful students.

Response to was incredible. Conference attendees were amazed at the depth, breath and quality of its resources - all offered for free. They were also impressed by's partnerships with the nation's premier educational organizations in the country. Attendees commented that they "couldn't wait to tell other educators in their schools about" and "couldn't wait to use it with their students."
