About the Program

The Disaster Relief and Recovery program is activated by the Verizon Foundation during times of natural disaster and other events so that together we can help communities worldwide. When activated, the Disaster Relief and Recovery program provides a TOTAL ANNUAL LIMIT PER EMPLOYEE: $1,000 per year matched 1:1 to designated Disaster Relief agencies identified by the Verizon Foundation.

Employees are also encouraged to volunteer with these organizations and track their volunteer hours as part of the Community Champions program.
